With over 65+ academies spread throughout the globe, CJJF Texas became the first academy in the Lone Star State. Our mission is to enhance the lives of all men, women, and children within our community by purposefully helping them become the best version of themselves.
Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes serve as an excellent resource for parents to outsource adversity children need to experience in a safe, fun, and structured environment. Proven to be an exceptional form of self-defense, exercise and fitness, our martial arts program aims to develop strong core values and social skills necessary to succeed in all aspects of life.
Who is Caveirinha?
Professor Aldo “Caveirinha” Januário is one of many Brazilians born into a family of modest means amidst a poor community in Rio De Janeiro Brazil. Introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 10, Professor Caveirinha soon realized that BJJ was his calling. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provided Aldo with one of the best opportunities in life.
Professor Caveirinha received his Black Belt at the age of 20 and began teaching at his own academy located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Since then, he has been promoted to 5th degree Black Belt; a level reached by only a handful of Jiu Jitsu masters. Despite a very promising future in competition, Aldo chose to focus on his real passion: Teaching. His passion has led him to cultivate numerous champions, and he is still going strong.
